ELGIN - Thursday, after once-Weather Underground leader Bill Ayers' speech at Elgin Community College, he answered Champion News' Lennie Jarratt's question about Ayers' take on the Common Core Curriulum.
Ayers expressed the same negative views about Common Core that he had previously, "but he opposed it for different reasons than conservatives do," Jarratt said.
