Thousands gathered at Chicago's Union Station on Tuesday to celebrate National School Choice Week -- an event promoting the idea that empowering parents to send their children to the school of their choice is the best way to improve the nation's education system.
Speakers from across the political spectrum spoke at the event, all of them communicating the same message -- now is the time to provide real school choice to families across the country. Parents, students and teachers were there as well, showing their support.
