GOP challenger Adam Baumgartner's volunteers have filed a complaint with Chicago Heights Police against State Senator Toi Hutchinson and two staffers for pulling up Baumgartner campaign signs. The incident took place at Chicago Heights' intersection of Vollmer Road and Dixie Highway.
One of the officers reportedly told the Baumgartner volunteers that Hutchinson confessed she had been involved in taking up the signs, but that it was all a mistake.
Baumgartner volunteer community activist J.R. Jordan said he intends to file a complaint with the Cook County state's attorney office this week.
