I was pleased to receive the endorsement of the Chicago Tribune Newspaper, the leading news periodical on Republican issues in Cook County.
The Chicago tribune said; “Democrats Hold all three seats on this obscure but influential board, which has directly raised homeowners’ property-tax bills for decades by giving relief to big clients of prominent attorneys. Republicans have their best shot at reclaiming the board’s ‘suburban seat’ by nominating Sean Morrison, of Palos Park, head of a large Alsip-based security company,” noted the Tribune.
“Voters need to restore a check and balance system to the Cook County Board of Review; we need to have Republican representation and a common sense approach to the tax assessment process for homeowners,” said Morrison.
