Attention Islamic murdering fanatics. Please note the new Obama protocol for dealing with you after you kill Americans: (1) Kill thousands of Americans on American Soil-Full Civil Rights like any American criminal defendant, including the opportunity to use your trial as a propaganda platform learn state secrets, including any exculpatory and exclude evidence obtained without respecting the 4th amendment (2) Kill dozens of Americans in foreign country (e.g. U.S.S. Cole bomber Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri) - sorry, Abdul, military tribunal for you, with admission of hearsay and other rules that make your conviction more likely (3) Kidnap a single American and hold him hostage, bullet to the head. No lawyer. No trial. No health care.
The release of her book has inspired a new, and particularly virulent, outbreak of PDR (Palin Derangement Syndrome). Too bad there was no vaccine for that, since this eruption could have been anticipated, much like the H1N1 flu, for which there is a vaccine, but not enough, despite assurances from the Dear Reader’s benevolent federal government. Of course, as we learned yesterday, counting is not their strong suit. They counted jobs created by the stimulus in Congressional districts that don’t exist. We shouldn’t be surprised. We know that liberals can always see things that aren’t there. (See the “right of privacy” discovered as emanating from the penumbra of the Constitution.)
Speaking of Gov. Palin, even militant liberal women find the Newsweek cover depicting her in shorts sexist, demeaning and inappropriate. I agree, but clearly the intent was to implement Saul Alinsky’s rule number 5; that is to ridicule her and characterize her as a joke. Scantily clad Palin on the cover of a magazine: a laughingstock. Scantily clad Obama in an allegedly serious newspaper: dreamy, so much so that an allegedly serious journalist, the Chicago Sun-Times’ Lynn Sweet, laments being unable to follow him into the locker room.

Wow, now I’m in a quandary. Over the weekend, the man-god’s administration announced that it would begin working on “comprehensive administration reform” (read amnesty for illegals) early next year. So, which do I do: try to remember my college Spanish or switch to learning Chinese?
Ironically, it might be the Chinese the put the kabosh on Sham WOW’s plan to destroy our health care system. Apparently, they are concerned about how he plans to pay for it, and according to at least one commentator, who happens to be the dean of the Harvard Medical School, (as well as the Congressional Budget Office, and any 8 year old with a calculator and an ounce of common sense), it’s not going to reduce costs as the proponents claim, a shocking revelation, given the impressive track record of previous federal government social welfare ratholes:
In discussions with dozens of health-care leaders and economists, I find near unanimity of opinion that, whatever its shape, the final legislation that will emerge from Congress will markedly accelerate national health-care spending rather than restrain it. Likewise, nearly all agree that the legislation would do little or nothing to improve quality or change health-care's dysfunctional delivery system. The system we have now promotes fragmented care and makes it more difficult than it should be to assess outcomes and patient satisfaction. The true costs of health care are disguised, competition based on price and quality are almost impossible, and patients lose their ability to be the ultimate judges of value.
Finally, when Obama toured the Forbidden City this week, the Chinese closed it to the public. Some might think that’s for security reasons. Wrong: it’s obvious that they had to do that because there wouldn’t be room in the FC for other people and Obama’s ego.
