Nationwide protests took place on Saturday in 175 cities around the nation, including Chicago and Springfield, to protest the decision by California voters to re-establish what four judges struck down -- a legal (and historical) definition of natural marriage.
Think about it, when the California Supreme Court overturned the people's will a few months ago, pro-family advocates didn't hold protests across the country -- they rolled up their sleves and took their case back to "we the people" to amend their constitution and make their will (again) crystal clear.
But radical liberal activists have contempt for the democratic process. They would rather quash individual liberties by mandating special group (minority) rights. It is not like these homosexual activists don't already have the "right" to have consensual relationships with whomever they choose -- they want to impose their strange view of sexual behavior on the rest of the public.
These activists are not tolerant by any stretch of the imagination. A group of homosexual tyrants surrounded and physically assaulted a 69-year-old grandmother in Palm Springs earlier this week, after yanking a cross out of her hands and stomping on it while it lay on the ground. She can be seen mouthing the words “I love you” to protestors, who in response threaten her, and call her “stupid” and a “Nazi” while shaking their fists in her face with their own faces contorted with rage.
Said the woman, “They began grabbing me. It was like a dog pack, actually.”
If you have not seen this video, you should do so HERE. You will see that not only do these protestors violently refuse to respect this woman’s right to disagree with them; they will not even permit her and the reporter seeking to interview her to exercise their most basic rights to freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
Ludicrously, the anchor says at the end of the live feed, “[T]here’s a lot of hate, quite honestly, on both sides.” I saw no hate coming from this woman, but plenty coming from the mob of enraged homosexual activists.
There is plenty of hate in this issue, virtually all of it coming from angry liberal tyrants.
