In midst of all this discussion on Barack Obama, a friend reminded me of the very first radio talk show I did on the topic of Rev. Jeremiah Wright -- February 15, 2007 -- with now-CNN correspondent Roland Martin, who gave me a grilling on one of the top black stations in Chicago, WVON.
There's so much more to affirm the questions we raised then about Barack Obama, I almost chuckle when I hear this interview. What a difference a year makes.
BTW, Mr. Martin asked me to stay on segment after segment during this interview, others joined the conversation, finally ending with a call in from Trinity United Church of Christ's new pastor Otis Moss III, who, in my opinion is just as radical as Dr. Wright.
I tried several times to get the last portion audio files of the program, but was unable. They were the best . . . callers defending Obama and his church.
If you can, take a few moments to listen to the first half of the discussion, which was kicked off over a year ago right here on the Illinois Review post "Hannity focuses on Obama's church."
