The State Journal-Register's political whiz writer Bernie Schoenberg gives us another reason for the House to initiate investigation into whether Blagojevich should be impeached.
Gov. ROD BLAGOJEVICH may have to give a deposition in a case brought by more than 65 former Department of Corrections captains whose rank was eliminated by Blagojevich back in 2003.
Back then, the governor seemed anxious to talk about the bold move of eliminating all 219 captain positions from the department. He hasn’t been so happy about the idea more recently, because he’s had Chicago lawyers representing him in attempts to avoid sitting for a deposition.
