Today, our question is answered about the purpose of Family Taxpayer Network's Topinka Tattler.
The Tattler finally reveals that he or she is pushing for four more years of Rod Blagojevich . . .
From today's tattle:
If Topinka wins in November - that’s the official end of any semblance of a Republican Party in Illinois, and needless to say of any conservative agenda for the foreseeable future. Ask yourself, will the IL GOP and the conservative movement be weaker or stronger four years from now if Topinka loses? There is no hesitation for us to say both will be stronger.
Topinka’s loss will finally break the log jam of dysfunction we’ve had to contend with as a result of the same old team of dishonest, self-serving players. Pruning back the old brush will finally allow our Party and our ideas to grow. The little circle of selfish players that’s been around seemingly forever and resorted to every unethical means to cling to power will finally be finished.
Four more years of Blagojevich is a big price to pay for future victory, but at least we can build with that Democrat as a foil. We can’t make progress under Topinka – who would only make her embarrassments ours. It’s not like Republicans lack experience in this matter. Our IL GOP can’t survive another George Ryan. It’s asinine to pretend otherwise.
It’s unfortunate we’re in this mess and faced with no good option in November.
Do you agree or disagree that Rod Blagojevich's re-election would teach the Illinois Republican Party a lesson?
