LIBERTYVILLE - Wednesday, the Dold campaign charged incumbent Democrat Brad Schneider of misleading seniors in the 10th CD when he denied ObamaCare would cut Medicare benefits during a 2012 WTTW debate.
Schneider, then the Democratic challenger, rebutted then-Congressman Bob Dold's point that ObamaCare would cut in senior health care benefits. Schneider insisted "not one penny" would be cut. (See Clip HERE.)
"Not only has Brad Schneider’s healthcare agenda slashed Medicare Advantage benefits for seniors to the tune of $150 billion hitting 10th District seniors with an average cut of $1,341 starting next year – but he misled seniors to believe these cuts would never happen," a Dold campaign release said Wednesday. "And he got caught on tape doing it."
