CICERO - Service Employees International Union are backing protests in 150 cities throughout the nation Thursday, demanding fast food service workers be paid $15 per hour. Not only do they want to raise the minimum wage, SEIU wants fast food workers to be unionized.
One of SEIU's protests is in Cicero, Illinois, where police are detaining fast food protesters for blocking streets.
