Ohio Republican congressman and Speaker of the U.S. House John Boehner will make a fundraising stop in Illinois during the August congressional recess for former Republcian congressman Bobby Schilling.
Former congressman Schilling is locked into a highly contested rematch with Democrat congresswoman Cheri Bustos.
Boehner makes the second House Republican leader to attend a fundraiser in Illinois on behalf of Schilling, on July 20th new House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy(R-CA) made a stop in Peoria.
The Boehner fundraiser will be August 11th in Colona.
