NAPERVILLE - State Representative and Republican Candidate for the 11th Congressional District, Darlene Senger, has announced that she's accepted another debate request this week from The Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation.
This is the third request Senger has accepted. Her opponent, Congessman Bill Foster has yet to accept any formal requests made by the organizations offering public debates.
“We believe that the voters deserve a chance to hear where their candidates stand on the issues,” said Anthony Barry, campaign manager for Senger. “This is about allowing the citizens of the 11th Congressional District to come out and meet their candidates, and hear an open and public discussion on the most important issues confronting Illinois and our nation.”
According to the campaign, Senger has accepted debate or forum invitations from The League of Women Voters, The Civic Committee of Carillon Lakes, and the Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation. Foster has not yet responded to any of the invites.
