CHICAGO – Gov. Pat Quinn said he’s not worried about a new poll showing Republican challenger Bruce Rauner more than a dozen points ahead among likely voters.
WBBM Newsradio Political Editor Craig Dellimore reports the Democratic incumbent seemed unfazed by a Chicago Sun-Times opinion poll showing Rauner leading the race 51-38.
Quinn insisted he has Rauner just where he wants him.
“There’s 12 weeks from tomorrow [before the November election], and I’ve been underestimated. I’ve been an underdog in every race I’ve been in, and last time around, they said I was out. Turned out I won,” he said.
