WASHINGTON - State Senator Christine Radogno's middle daughter Lisa, 31, passed away suddenly Wednesday after suffering a pulmonary embolism.
Ms. Radogno lived in Washington DC where she served on U.S. Senator Mark Kirk's staff since 2008.
Senator Kirk commented Thursday morning: "I regret to mourn the passing of my Washington, D.C., executive assistant Lisa Radogno, who died suddenly from a pulmonary embolism. Lisa was the most vibrant member of my team and an ardent Chicago White Sox fan. Her role here in my office and in our hearts is irreplaceable."
Senator Radogno announced her daughter's sudden death late Wednesday evening. In the photo, the late Ms. Radogno is holding one of her sister's newborn twins. Ms. Radogno had been injured in mid-May by a hit and run driver while walking in D.C.
