On June 10 the parliament of Denmark passed a new law that makes it mandatory for any church in the country to perform a gay wedding if asked and they may not refuse under penalty of law. You read that right. The new law is not about so-called "gay rights." Instead it is about radical special privileges for gays only to force any church to renounce it''s faith if it wants to or not. This is an Orwellian definition of rights. The law does not merely cover the official state Lutheran Church of the country but ALL churches.
This is an incredible state crime against the concept of religious liberty to give special privileges to only one group of people under the pretense that the state is somehow preventing discrimination. This answers the question is there still evil in the world. There is in Denmark. Note that the laws does NOT say a Jewish couple has the right to demand a Jewish wedding ceremony in a Roman Catholic Church, only that a gay couple can demand that their ceremony be held in a Catholic or any church.
