CHICAGO - Tuesday, key Illinois Republicans spoke to a gathering of Chicago businessmen about the issue of immigration reform. Via video, Illinois Congressmen Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) and Aaron Schock (IL-17) shared with the Illinois Business Immigration Coalition their hopes for "common sense" legislation that would open the way for legal immigration.
Kinzinger said in his recorded video that "Through common sense policies we have the opportunity to grow our economy and provide security and well-paying jobs for people across Illinois."
In his video Schock said, "Quite frankly, I think if a man or a woman likes their American job - wherever they were born - they should be able to keep that job."
