EAST MOLINE - Republican candidate in the 17th CD Bobby Schilling is likely to be disappointed tonight during President Obama's State of the Union address. Schilling says h's hoping he'll hear the President admit Obamacare is deeply flawed.
"There are a lot of things I'd like to hear from President Obama tonight during his State of the Union address. I'd like to hear the President admit that his signature legislative achievement—Obamacare—is deeply flawed and in need of a bipartisan do-over," Schilling said. "I'd like to hear the President apologize to the American people for telling them 'if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan' when millions of Americans have already been forced off their coverage by Obamacare. I'd also like to see the many liberals who parroted that 'lie of the year'—including Congresswoman Cheri Bustos—apologize for doing so. I'd like to hear the President get serious about tackling the national debt and passing a balanced budget amendment."
