The Illinois Republican Party (ILGOP) has landed Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal as keynote speaker for its annual dinner on Feb. 25 at the Union League Club.
Jindal, who appeared at the CPAC Chicago event in 2012, may seek the Republican nomination for president in 2016, and should help the ILGOP raise desperately needed money this election year.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Gov. Jindal to Illinois. We’re looking forward to hearing what Republican leadership has meant for his state, before we elect a Republican Governor of our own in November,” said Jack Dorgan, Chairman of the Illinois Republican Party. “Republican Governors around the country are lowering taxes, creating jobs, and fixing what’s broken, while Illinois continues to struggle under ten years of one-party Democrat rule.”
Tickets range from $150 up to $10,000, and can be purchased at ILGOPEvents.com
