LIBERTYVILLE, IL – On the heels of entering the Illinois 10th District Congressional race, the Dold for Congress campaign today released its fundraising numbers for Q3, showing significant voter support with more than 90 percent of donations coming from individuals in Illinois and raising nearly $900,000 in two quarters.
“The people of the 10th District are tired of the Congressional gridlock and partisan politics and they are putting their support behind a proven leader – Bob Dold,” said Dold for Congress campaign spokeswoman, Danielle Hagen.
Republican Dold, who served one term in Congress from January 2011 to January 2013, is challenging Democrat Brad Schneider to regain the 10th CD seat Dold lost to Schneider in 2012.
Breakdown of Q3 fundraising numbers:
- Total Cash on Hand: $819,153
- Total Q3 contributions: $317,835.
- Percentage of donations from individual Illinois donors: 90 percent
