“It has been an honor and a privilege to advocate for DuPage County residents in Springfield. I have fought hard to rein in state spending, to create a business destination that enhances our economy and to protect our quality of life. I am seeking election to the 24th Senate District because there is still a lot more work that needs to be accomplished in Springfield such as fixing the state’s financial and pension crisis,” said Reboletti.
A lifelong resident of Elmhurst, Reboletti is currently serving his fourth term in the Illinois House of Representatives. He served three terms representing the 46th District, and last November, was elected to serve in the newly drawn 45th District.
Reboletti received endorsements from various local and state leaders, including State Senator Kirk Dillard, who currently serves the 24th District.
“Dennis Reboletti is a highly respected legislator and the Republican’s leading voice on the House floor. Representative Reboletti is a great fighter for west suburban families as he knows our needs and area well,” said Dillard, who plans to vacate the Senate seat to run for governor.
Reboletti has also received support from DuPage State's Attorney Bob Berlin, State Representatives Patti Bellock and Sandra Pihos, whose districts reside in the 24th Senate. Other supporters include Illinois House Minority Leader Jim Durkin, Senator Michael Connelly, State Representative Ron Sandack, York Township Trustee Paul Hinds and Addison Township Republican Chairman Patrick Durante.
