On Monday, State Sen. Kirk Dillard (photo right) will "officially" throw his hat in the ring for Governor. The announcement will make him the fourth to declare following Bruce Rauner, Bill Brady and Dan Rutherford.
Radio talk show host Dan Proft has yet to make a decision on whether to join the foursome. He told Illinois Review he's still exploring a run.
No word yet on Lieutenant Governor picks. This election season will mark the first time Illinois gubernatorial candidates will run in the primary election as a ticket with an LG candidate.
