In a post entitled: "Rauner's GTCR investments raise questions about political connections," Crain's Greg Hinz began the opposition research into possible GOP gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner.
Hinz tangentially connects Rauner to Stuart Levine and the fruit of that poison tree - Tony Rezko, Bill Cellini, and Ed Vrdolyak.
Of course, no direct knowledge or responsibility is proven, and Hinz writes: "I'm certainly not accusing him of wrongdoing. But if he wants to be governor, I suspect he's going to have to say a lot more about how he and his firm did business in the state of Stu Levine, Tony Rezko and Rod Blagojevich." ...More HERE
