ROME - Wednesday, a conclave of Catholic bishops from around the world chose to be the Church's Holy Father Argentina's 76 year old Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who will be known as Pope Francis I.
Pope Francis father was an Italian immigrant that traveled to Buenos Aries, where the new pope was born in 1936. He will lead the largest Christian church with nearly 1.2 billion believers worldwide.
