WASHINGTON DC - Federal criminal charges were filed today against former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife "Co-Conspirator I." Sandi Jackson. Jackson is accused of misusing campaign funds for personal items, including a $35,000 Rolex watch, children's furniture and mink capes. Numerous other contributions, including a $25,000 check written by "Agent F" to pay down credit cards, was not reported on the Jackson's income tax returns.
Jackson's wife, former Chicago alderman Sandi Jackson, is also accused of under-reporting taxable income during the years of 2006 to 2011. The charges are HERE and HERE
