Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA) announced today David Vite, its President and CEO, notified the Board of Directors his decision to retire on December 31, 2013. Vite has spent the last 36-years with the organization, serving in his current role as Present and CEO for the past 28-years. IRMA's Board of Directors has unanimously chosen Rob Karr, its current Executive Vice President, to lead the association beginning in 2014. Karr began his career with IRMA in 1994 and directs legislative priorities overseeing various issues at the state capitol.
