EAST DUNDEE - East Dundee trustee Allen Skillicorn, a committed locally-elected fiscal conservative, said he's proud to vote on a resolution Monday night that will hold back property tax hikes on village residents. Monday night on the East Dundee Village Meeting's agenda is a resolution to abate back $16,992 of the property tax levy down to the 2011 per-resident tax levels.

“I enthusiastically plan on keeping my promise to freeze the property levy for each East Dundee resident!” Trustee Skillicorn said.
The $566,396 levy to be collected increased only to account for new growth. East Dundee homeowners will not be seeing any increase in the East Dundee line of their property taxes. Most homeowners will only see an increase due to the school disrict and fire district referendum that passed in November.
