Dixon teachers set to strike Thursday

Citing "very little progress" in Monday's negotiations, the Dixon teachers union today said that its members will go on strike at the start of the school day Thursday.

The Dixon Education Association informed the Dixon school board of that decision early today, after contract negotiations went past 2 a.m. Classes will be canceled Thursday.
