Former Dixon comptroller Rita Crundwell was sentenced this week by a federal judge in Rockford to serve 19 years, 7 months in prison after having plead guilty to one count of wire fraud steaming from her theft of neary $54 million from the city of Dixon over the course of the last 20 years.
Crundwell still faces 60 criminal counts in Lee county over her scheme to steal from the city of Dixon.
