CHICAGO - As lawmakers in Springfield take another shot at a gambling expansion bill, there’s a new look out at the behavior of gamblers.
The Sun-Times cites state records in reporting 52 cases of adults leaving children unsupervised at casinos – between the start of 2010 and the middle of last summer. It includes a total of 85 kids left behind in parking lots, lobbies, restaurants and hotels.
The paper reports penalties range from a ticket or a warning to being banned from the casino.
