Sangamon County gun activist defends "high capacity" magazines (video)

SPRINGFIELD - With gun control legislation being proposed at the federal and state levels, gun owners nationwide responded by holding Gun Appreciation Day rallies nationwide.  Some were vocal in their defense of the Second Amendment.

"I am my own first responder," Tom Shafer of the Sangamon County Rifle Association said in an interview at the Illinois Guns Across America rally in Springfield Saturday. He went on to explain the case for "high capacity" magazines. Video by Survive2Day.
