Senator LaHood will serve as the Republican spokesman for the Senate’s Licensed Activities & Pensions Committee. The spokesman duties will focus on the hundreds of professional regulations, licensure activities and the state’s massive public pension crisis.
Senator LaHood begins his role as Republican spokesman in two weeks, when the General Assembly reconvenes for the 2013 Spring Session. He also serves on the Senate’s Insurance, Judiciary, Public Health and Appropriations II Committees.
Senator LaHood, as a former state and federal prosecutor, was very pleased to be appointed to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
