Why should voters in Illinois care about the local Chicago media ignoring black Republican candidates in the race for Jesse Jackson, Jr.’s old congressional seat when the Illinois State Republican Party Chairman won’t acknowledge them either?
Last week on Fox Chicago, Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady was asked what the party is going to do about the lack of minority appeal within the GOP. Rather than take the opportunity to promote that there are five black Republicans currently running for a congressional seat in Illinois, Brady instead discussed national figures in the party like Senator Marco Rubio and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. Brady also blamed the social issues of the Republican Party, saying those issues "scare suburban women" and "scare minorities." ...More HERE
