Illinois concealed carry ban thrown out by federal appeals court

CHICAGO (WLS) - A federal appeals court in Chicago strikes down Illinois' ban on carrying concealed weapons. LINK: Seventh Circuit concealed-carry decision

The justices have now given the Illinois General Assembly 180 days to come with a new bill that would legalize concealed carry.

Illinois is the only state that does not have a concealed carry law.
