A count by The Weekly Standard shows that President Barack Obama used the funeral for Hawaii Senator Daniel Inouye to talk about himself. In the short 1,600 word speech, Obama used the word "my" 21 times, "me" 12 times, and "I" 30 times. Somehow the president thought it was relevant to a pay tribute to Sen. Inouye by talking about his own family's childhood trips to Yellowstone and Disneyland and how wonderful he thought ice and vending machines were when he was a child. I am sure the family of Sen.Inouye must have been enthralled when President Obama shared his own random childhood memories supposedly in a rather odd eulogy to the senator.
