A new viral video from the Safer Families Coalition was launched today. The ad that slams Illinois Republicans for supporting a bill to permit illegal immigrants to receive state-issued driver’s licenses.
The spot, entitled “Remember the Willis Children,” recalls the tragic Willis-Guzman crash on Interstate 94 and the deaths of the six Willis children in a fiery explosion that was caused by an illegally licensed commercial truck driver named Ricardo Guzman. Numerous Illinois officials were eventually implicated in the scandal, including former Gov. George Ryan.
