Kirk climbs 37 flights in first public appearance since stroke

CHICAGO - Sunday at the Institute of Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's annual fundraiser, US Senator Mark Kirk made his first public appearance following a stroke last January. After climbing 37 flights of stairs at the Willis Tower, he told NBC5 Mary Ann Ahern that his goal is to return to his work in Washington DC next January.  Kirk had many observers that aren't so proned to exercising wondering if they could climb as many stairs as he did...
