Voting in President Obama's 4th Ward of the City of Chicago, from my friend, who is one of the highest-ranking USG employees here, under subject line: "worst voting experience":
"Chris, I was a UN observer for the first Iraqi elections - and I had greater confidence votes mattered than I did about my own vote today. Attached is a photo of my election official wearing an Obama baseball cap. Woman in front of me also given an extra ballot. This is all unfolding in Chicago’s south loop (1212 South Plymouth Court)" ...
Ten minutes later -- "also... told I could not vote because my ward listed on my voter registration card didn't match the location. I explained our wards were redrawn recently and I eventually persuaded the Obama cap to find my own name in the book and was eventually able to vote."
