Elitists of The American Left Wing love to force their fellow citizens into obeying government mandates of all kinds. The elites are arrogant enough to be absolutely convinced that they know without any doubt what is good for you and if only you obey their dictates, you will be happy and secure and grateful for their benevolence. Some schools are finding out that good food is being wasted at lunch because kids do not want to be told what to do just because the government tells them what is good for them.
Many employers and doctors are worried that the mandates of Obamacare will have the opposite effect of helping uninsured people because it will cost jobs in the private sector and will force some doctors to retire early and other younger doctors to avoid taking new patients or to leave the profession entirely. The Left wingers always claim to have only the best intentions but at times their hypocrisy is stark. The tyranny of good intentions always eventually becomes exposed over time. If Obamacare is such a great plan for the rest of us, then why did Congress exempt themselves and Obama himself and his administation from living under that plan? Why has HHS exempted thousands of people in labor unions and other groups that so actively lobbied for passage of the bill? HHS has exempted more than 1,236 companies by giving out waivers to favorite political donors and other friends of the admninstration in a gigantic political scandal that the MSM very seldom covers. This is not in the tradition of progressive American liberalism, it is more in the tradition of government-sanctioned organized crime corruption. if there are any moderates still on The Left, they better wake up fast. If the Obama jack boots can take our freedom away from us in the private sector, what is to stop them from also taking away freedom from the pet social programs backed by the Left? Our founders understood that Freedom is indivisible. If you give government enough power to take it away from some you can take it away from all. Barack Obama will never understand this because all of his educational mentors and role models came from the very far Left of world politics.
