PALWAUKEE - Illinois Republicans launched the "Save Illinois Taxpayers" campaign Wednesday to send voters a 3-prong message of what they promise to do if they gain the majority in November: 1. freeze property taxes, 2. audit state spending and 3. repeal the income tax hike.
