GOP Senate candidate Don Castella (challenging Sen. Terry Link) and Karen Bahr are participating in National Empty Chair Day 2012 on their home lawns.
Bryan Darge from Schaumburg says "I am the middle class," and Debbie Hart from Homewood's empty chair sign quotes Dirty Harry, "When somebody's not doing the job, we've got to let him go..."
Gotta love it when candidate show a sense of humor -although his point isn't really THAT funny - but Republican candidate Vince Romano takes on two other Empty Chairs - his Democrat opponent State Rep. Lou Lang and House Speaker Mike Madigan - right in front of Lang's Chicago office...
Below, Cathy Peschke (who wisely left IL for NH a few years ago) writes, "The stack of wood behind the President will do a lot more to reduce our families energy costs than the President's energy policies ever will."
Effingham's Loren Heal was in Tampa as an RNC delegate and he wrote, "I had lunch with Barack Obama in Tampa!" only to come home to a yard that needed mowing. "My yard needs to be mowed. If birth control is free, why can't the government mow my yard --- don't I have a right to own a home? Weed control is a men's rights issue!" Heal writes. He's got a point!
