WASHINGTON - Saturday, the Washington DC traditional values watchdog Family Research Council Action released their 2012 Congressional Vote Scorecard, and only two Illinois Congress members - Don Manzullo and Bobby Schilling - score 100%.
Six other Republican members scored 83%, voting against FRCAction and Citizen Link's counsel once: Peter Roskam, Joe Walsh, Adam Kinzinger, Randy Hultgren, Aaron Schock and John Shimkus. The vote most disagreed upon was a vote allowing the president thousands of appointments without legislative approval.
Both U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Mark Kirk scored 0%. Senator Kirk was not able to vote this year since his January stroke.
