CHICAGO - From the affadavit of Marcy Bailey of Xenia, Illinois, who as a government employee, was forced to drive five hours to Chicago and attend an Operation PUSH rally where Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi endorsed Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr 14 days before the Democratic primary.
Bailey says in her 8 page testimony that as an employee of the Illnois Student Assistance Commission, she was paid 15 hours to attend the rally. After the rally, the ISAC employees were coached by the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. From page 5:
12. Jesse Jackson Sr told us not to worry about loading students up with too much college debt, because Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats will eventually forgive all student loan debt. On the promise of loan forgiveness, "those people will continue to vote Democratic."
The 22 year old Bailey worked with Adam Andrzejewski of For the Good of Illinois to go public with her testimony.
