Illinois to Chris Matthews: Chicago means "corruption" not "racism"
Chris Matthews was on MSNBC's Hardball last night covering the Republican National Convention with guests Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post and John Heilemann of New York Magazine. Not surprisingly, the concept of "otherization" was discussed. "Otherization" is liberal-speak for: if you disagree with the President, you're a racist.
Well, last night Matthews decided that reminding people about Obama's roots in "Chicago politics" or even saying the word "Chicago" is now racist.
