Just received this update from the Obama campaign -
Washington, DC – DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and NARAL President Nancy Keenan will hold a press conference call TODAY, Tuesday, August 21 at 1 pm EDT to discuss Mitt Romney’s Republican Party’s platform that includes a human life amendment to ban abortion nationwide, without exceptions for rape and incest. American women know that Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and the party they lead are the wrong choice for women and their families. Mitt Romney should do the right thing and denounce this dangerous language.
So, are we to take from this that Democrats don't believe preborn human babies should be protected? And that it is pro-women to not fully inform women about the consequences an abortion could bring upon their own bodies and their psyches? And what about the resulting non-existent "families" the DNC thinks protecting human life will harm?
How is honoring human life dangerous?? And how is that a war on women? What are the Democrats thinking?
