"A call for Cook County election judges?" Just what does that mean?
There are nearly 2,000 precincts in suburban Cook County, and they all need to have Republican judges present to help assure a fair vote. As of now, only a fraction of these positions are filled—that means there are literally hundreds unfilled. And that means that Democrats can be substituted in those slots.
How can you help? Become an election judge. The deadline to sign up to be an election judge is September 24. Here’s where to apply online -

Elections judges must be registered voters in Cook County that voted in the March 2012 primary. A training session is required and judges must be available to work on November 6th. They will be compensated.
