Will County Elections Board removes eight Democrats from county board ballot

JOLIET - Tuesday, the Will County Board of Elections removed eight Will County Democrat candidates running for county board off November's ballot. 

Will County GOP Chairman Ed Ronkowski and attorney Dick Kavanaugh objected to candidates the Will County Democrats placed on the ballot because the Democrat Party chairman failed to send out legal notices on candidate appointments as required by elections law. 

The Board, consisting of two Democrats and one Republican made their decision at 1:00 PM Tuesday afternoon.
