There is a myriad of questions that conservatives have been asking themselves since the election of Barack Obama in 2008 not the least of which was, "With this man as our president, what will our nation look like by the time we reach the year 2012?"
Many conservatives could project forward with some accuracy to imagine the world as it is today, but (unfortunately) we had to wait out the four years to be able to answer with absolute certainty this very troubling and significant question.
The world...no, America is a much different place than it was before Barack Obama took office. It feels as if our country's perpetually youthful optimism has become haggard and aged under the pounding of too many adversaries. The differences are historically significant within this nation's time line but these changes have led many Americans to wonder, "How could this possibly be for the better?"; "Is it too late to right the ship and bring this country back to greatness?"; "Are we left with no other option than to trade in our liberty for this new and foreboding third world status that conservatives can see looming over the horizon?" These are the questions which now plague us as we move forward to November of 2012.
But in order find the answers, in order to face the real and daunting challenges before us with some honesty, we must now begin asking a new question. What will this nation look like in the year 2016? It's a chilling prospect for many people that calls to mind images of despair, famine and suffering on a global scale. With no one to curtail the march of despots, with no one to stand firm against the United Nations in its evolving rogue form which now seeks to impose taxes on our prosperity, how can a mere nation-state survive?
This election is important and we must now and forever put to bed such careless throw-aways from our moderate friends as, "What difference does it make? It can't get any worse." Remember now, that was the impetus behind their reckless vote for change only four years ago. It couldn't get any worse than what George Bush gave us. Can you imagine? Forever, let the people of this nation remember that it most certainly can. It can always get worse. Do we really need to continue to test the theory?
Barack Obama extols the virtues of his dreams from his father. Those dreams have now supplanted the US Constitution and have been guiding this nation for the last four years. The dreams of this one man - not one nation under God. But our own forefathers had dreams too. They are the motivating force behind conservative values and those dreams move in direct opposition to what our president has in mind for this country.
Conservatives...we do know what Barack Obama has in mind for us and for our beloved nation, but do we understand why? What makes this guy tick?
Dinesh D'Souza has been searching for answers to that question since Barack Obama took office four years ago and he believes that he understands the driving force, the compulsion behind our president's dream. He has written on the subject and on July 27, 2012 the film 2016: Obama's America - based on D'Sousa's best selling book - will be released into theaters. Here's a look at what that film will discuss:
