Gov. Pat Quinn pushes the Illinois General Assembly to tackle state employee pension reform. Sen. Kirk Dillard says he's "keeping an open mind" if Madigan's idea of pushing the pension burden down to local school districts has to be combined with "real" pension reform.
"Rome is burning," Dillard said. Lack of pension reform is costing Illinois taxpayers $12 million per day.
