Former GOP gubernatorial candidate Ron Gidwitz' Super PAC, the New Prosperity Foundation, launched a $40k cable TV ad buy today in the Chicagoland area, focused on the north suburban 10th, northwest suburban 8th and the west suburban 11th CD races.
Gidwitz, along with Illinois Manufacturers' Assn. president Greg Baise, is investing about $40,000 in the buy, with most of it focused on preserving Congressman Joe Walsh, with less supporting Congressional incumbents Judy Biggert and Bob Dold.
